If you read that series and are thinking “I want to do that but don’t know how to find deals 🤔”...we’ve got you! Let’s talk about ways that YOU could find your next property. In honor of Valentine’s Day this week (or Galentine’s Day around here 💃), we’re going to be talking about love. But not the kind of love you think... 💌 LOVE LETTERS! 💕 One of our favorite ways to source deals is through love letters. A love letter is when you send a hand-written letter to a property owner in hopes that they will sell their property to you. Back in 2020 I actually bought my very first home by sending one of these! We also did a podcast episode on this recently, take a listen! How To Use “Love Letters” To Source Properties 💌🎧 I walked by this particular house everyday and noticed that it was vacant. So I found the owner’s new address on the county assessor’s site and mailed them a letter introducing myself and telling them I wanted to buy their home. And it WORKED! 😆 I challenge you to send 3 love letters today. Properties that have a lot of mail, overgrown yards, or excess garbage may be vacant and therefore have more motivated sellers.
